The purpose of the third international research
conference is to analyze the impact of casino gambling from operational, legal,
political, social, and cultural perspectives in Europe, Africa, and the Middle
East. The presentations focus on legal and illegal gambling in brick and mortar
as well as online casinos, casino gambling operation in modern societies and
cultures, problem gambling in casinos, and the importance of the public good.
